Historic view of the White Eagle estate on Lake Moraine
Our Story

Kept in the tradition of a quieter hospitality.

For nearly a century, White Eagle has stood at the edge of Lake Moraine — a refuge among the pines.

The estate began as a private family retreat, expanded by hand over generations into the three connected properties that anchor it today: The Appley, The Grove, and Americana Village. Each was built for a different way of gathering, and each carries the same quiet conviction — that hospitality is something you notice only in its absence.

Today, White Eagle hosts weddings, retreats and gatherings of up to 500 guests, while still keeping the unhurried rhythm of a lakeside home. We are family-held, locally staffed, and stewarded by a team that treats every visit as if it were a return.
